Ramanand Garge was an Associate Fellow at the VIF from February 2015 - August 2019. He is a research scholar in the field of security studies. The research areas of his interest includes counter terrorism policies framed worldwide, with prominent focus on studies pertinent to terrorism financing and Jurisprudence of Terrorism. His areas of interests in geopolitical context encompasses Indo-Pacific, maritime security, energy security [nuclear power generation]. He is alumnus of Department of Defence and Strategic Studies, University of Pune. Presently he is pursuing his doctoral research in the field of security studies.
