A delegation from VIF led by Dr. Arvind Gupta, Director and comprising of Lt Gen (Retd) Ravi Sawhney, Amb (Retd) Gautam Mukhopadhaya, Dr Sreeradha Datta and Col Jaideep Chanda visited Myanmar from 9 – 12 December 2019.
Vivekananda International Foundation (VIF) organised a conference on ‘India's Foreign Policy towards African Continent in the 21st Century: Prospects for Cooperation’ on 20th November, 2019. The delegation consisted of ten Ambassadors and High Commissioners from different African nations, several scholars and experts, former diplomats, and military officers.
Consequent to the signing of MoU between VIF and Amity University, Noida, under the dynamic and visionary leadership of Dr Ashok K. Chauhan, Founder President, Amity Education Group and Dr Arvind Gupta, Director, VIF, a joint Essay Competition and Panel Discussion on ‘Vision India 2030’ was conceived and organized by Amity University at their Noida campus. Dr Arvind Gupta, Director, VIF was the Chief Guest on the occasion.
In 2018, The Vivekananda International Foundation (VIF) held the first of its kind of Certificate Programme to bring together students from Indian Universities, academicians, researchers from think-tanks and other disciplines and introduce them to the conceptual frameworks and thought processes of India’s strategic outlook.
The Center for South Asia-West China Cooperation and Development Studies (SAWCCAD) and the Institute of South Asian Studies (ISAS), Sichuan University, Chengdu, China, organised a conference on ‘China-India Interaction: From Bilateral to Regional Level’ on 25 April 2019.
The two day conference had the an objective of bringing together stakeholders of the cyber security domain i.e. the Government, intelligence agencies, police, industry, academia and think tanks, in promoting development and implementation of systems and concepts in effectively dealing with growing threat of cyber crimes.
