The Afghan government is working on plans to remove problems in the way of peace, Acting Foreign Affairs Minister Mohammad Haneef Atmar said Sunday, pledging that the challenges will be addressed in near future. BSF guns down Bangladeshi on Chapainawabganj border: Dhaka Tribune

Indian Border Security Force (BSF) has shot a Bangladesh national dead after he entered their territory nearby Shingnagar border in Shibganj upazila of Chapainawabganj. The incident took place around 8:30pm on Sunday. The deceased is Sumon, 22, a resident of Morolpara village under Monakosha union in the upazila. Shahadat Hossain Khurrum, chairman of Monakosha union parishad (UP), said a group of people including Sumon, went to India nearby demarcation pillar number 179 to bring cattle heads.
